Jill's Oriental Salad

1 medium bunch Napa cabbage (chopped)

1 bunch green onions (chopped)


1 1oz jar sesame seeds

1 2-3/4 oz pkg slivered almonds

1 stick butter or margarine

2 pkgs Oriental Flavored Ramen Noodle Soup

Break up noodles.  Brown noodles, almonds, and sesame seeds in butter or margarine.  Sprinkle soup seasoning over mixture.

¾ cup vegetable oil

½ sugar

¼ cup vinegar (preferably rice wine vinegar)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

Mix dressing ingredients in saucepan and boil for 1 minute.  Cool thoroughly and toss into salad just before serving.

Note: All steps can be done the day before, but do not mix until just before serving.
